Six luxurious en-suite rooms, including a gorgeous honeymoon suite, are individually decorated in the colours and moods of Provence. In the guesthouse, underfloor heating, air-conditioning and ceiling fans ensure year-round comfort. Each room has a Nespresso machine and tea tray, satellite TV, hairdryer, mini bar and a towel heater.

The Auberge also offers a tennis court for the energetic, a sparkling pool overlooking plum orchards and vineyards, and leisurely walks through the vines and along the oak-lined river.

Hearty country-style breakfasts are served under the 18th-century oak trees or in the charming courtyard dining room.

Our self-catering villa

Clermont also has a historic self-catering, three-bedroomed Villa.  The Villa has 2 bedrooms downstairs, each with its own full bathroom, one of which is en suite. The large loft room upstairs is beautifully decorated in mountain hues of blue and grey and has an en-suite shower room. This room is ideal for independent teenagers and adults, as its only access is via an outside staircase. There is no access to this room from inside the house. Downstairs, a private swimming pool and large veranda with outside dining and lounge areas make for memorable family fun. Inside, the house has another dining room that leads off the fully-equipped kitchen. The house comes complete with Nespresso machine, gas BBQ, iPod docking station, satellite TV, DVD-player and also has a washing machine and dryer in the laundry room, plus a wood-burning fireplace in the lounge. Step back in time and enjoy this secluded, beautifully appointed old Cape farmhouse, with its generous proportions and stunning views of the Franschhoek Mountains. The house sleeps a maximum of 6 people, including children.
