“Heritage Trails (Eastern Cape)" are excursion programmes offered by Pegasus Hospitality and Marketing (Group of Companies) providing intrepid travelers the opportunity to experience the rich wilderness, cultural heritage and magnificence of the Eastern Cape, with high levels of service, quality and affordable rates.

Showcasing some of the lesser known and "off the beaten track" destinations in and around the Karoo Heartland and Sunshine Coast, there are a combination of programmes ranging from guided tours to self-drive programmes, beach and bush escapes, dirt and dust 4x4 adventure through the world heritage site "Baviaanskloof Wilderness” and “Addo – Kabouga" 4x4 trails, and so much more.

The Pegasus Hospitality Group is also the owner of three upmarket properties in Port Elizabeth, namely Cape Flame Guest House -an award winning beachfront guest house, Lodge on Main Guest House & Conference Center - a city centre guest house and conference centre, and Koffylaagte Game Lodge & Tented Camp - a private game reserve located in Karoo Heartland, with a historic farmhouse and game lodge. All properties are TGCSA graded 4 star establishments.

Utilising our own properties and assets, along with other associated upmarket establishments in and around the Eastern Cape, the Heritage Trails programmes offer quality, flexibility and attention to customer needs, with affordable rates.

Prices vary depending on the type and duration of programme to be followed, ranging from R2,100 pp for a 2 night self-drive to R10850 pp for a 10 night guided package.
