Located close to Cape Town central via the stunning Atlantic seaboard road past Camps Bay and Clifton, Hout Bay is also easily accessible via Constantia Nek to the southern suburbs.

Hout Bay's glorious beach is set between the towering Sentinal on the one side and the world famous Chapman's Peak Drive on the other with Hout Bay Harbour tucked in the corner. From Mountain Rise the ocean is framed on both sides by mountains with a view to die for. The cottage has a full length patio to enjoy early morning breakfast or evening sundowners.

The cottage was totally renovated in May 2010 and comprises two bedrooms sleeping two and three people respectively, a brand new bathroom with bath and shower, new kitchen with modern stove, glass topped hob, granite surfaces and new appliances. There is a separate dining room and a large lounge leading to the main patio. Mountain Rise offers 100% secure accommodation with sliding security gates, burglar proofing and alarm. The driveway gate is operated by remote. The owners are in a separate house in the grounds and are available at most times to assist with any queries. The beautiful swimming pool is also available for your use. The cottage has a maid service Mon, Wed and Fri.
