Ridgemor Villa is located in one of the prime wine areas of the Western Cape. Dating back to 1670, Ridgemor is one of the oldest farms in the area. In fact, the name "Ridgemor", which was established in 1862, derives from its original owners, Ridge and Morris. Initially, it belonged to Zandvliet and was used as a tobacco and cattle farm. Veronique Barge acquired the farm in 2003, with a view of developing the farm into a Hidden Gem of the Winelands. But don't wait for us to tell you what we have in store for you! Come and experience it for yourself... The Guest House consists of 6 beautifully furnished very spacious rooms, as well as an incredibly luxurious honeymoon suite, all en suite. The honeymoon suite has a spa bath, double shower and a huge private balcony, complete with a fireplace in the lounge and outside on the balcony.

The interior is very tastefully furnished; it consists of two lounge areas, two dinning rooms and a fully stocked bar all with their own fireplace for the cold winter months. The lounge areas are ideal to relax and read a book with a lovely drink from the bar. The smaller lounge is located close to the bar and it’s a great area for guests to watch live DSTV sports action on the big screen TV.

The main dining room has a fireplace which makes it ideal in winter months for a quiet, intimate evening meal.

Our second dining room is ideal for groups of 10 people or less who want to enjoy a meal in privacy with the “family feel” around the big table.During the summer months we set our tables outside on the veranda for you to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful garden.

The huge, immaculately kept garden is big enough for children to run around in and enjoy themselves, whilst the parents can relax on the grass with a picnic basket ordered from our kitchen in the shade of the huge trees. The large beautiful pool comes with a fully equipped bar for lazy, hot summer afternoons, and deck chairs for soaking up the sun. The heated jacuzzi is conveniently situated, and all our guests are welcome tomake use of the facilities.
